CHRISTMAS MASSES

Christmas is a holy day of obligation. Since Christmas is Monday, December 25th, the Vigil Mass will be on Sunday at 5:30 p.m. You cannot fulfill your Sunday obligation and the holy day obligation with the 5:30 p.m. Vigil Mass. The last Sunday Mass will be at 11:00 a.m. There will be a Midnight Mass and Mass at 8:00 and 10:00 a.m. on Christmas day.

HOLY DAY OF OBLIGATION

Remember that Saturday, December 8th, is the Feast of the Immaculate Conception and is a Holy Day of Obligation. There will be a vigil Mass on Friday, December 7th at 6:00 p.m., and two Masses on Wednesday at 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. It is called a day of obligation because Catholics are obliged to participate in Mass on that day.
