Weekly Bulletin

My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, May the Peace of the Risen Christ be with you! Where would we be without our mothers? Without my mother I would not be here today writing this letter! I wouldn’t even be celebrating this Mass with you today! I thank God that she and my farther were open to life! She was the one who not only changed my diapers, but she had to wash them as well (There were no disposable diapers in those days!). She would have to soak them in the toilet and then wash them in the “ringer” washer. There was no automatic washing machine either. The...

Weekly Bulletin

My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, May the Peace of the Risen Christ be with you! Every year as May 9th approaches, I find myself reflecting on my priestly ordination and the call that God the Father has given to me to follow His Son as an ordained priest. Forty-eight years ago today I was making the final plans for my priestly ordination. I remember that I only had a few days to get everything ready since I had planned to be on retreat for three days before the ordination. I was so excited. The Annual Parish Gala was last Saturday. The parish owes a big thank you to all those who worked hard to make it a success. Weekly Bulletin

My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, May the Peace of the Risen Christ be with you! Every Sunday we normally listen to a reading from the Old Testament which is usually connected to the message of the Gospel for that Sunday. But this is not the case during the Easter Season. During this special time the Liturgy of the Word begins with a reading from the Acts of the Apostles where St. Luke gives us an inside view of the early church and how those first Christians worshiped. It was common for them to gather in the home of one or another of the baptized members. These gathering...

There are pledge envelopes available on the tables at the doors of the church.
