My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, May the Peace of the Risen Christ be with you! Today is the Feast of the Divine Mercy of Jesus. Like of you, I do not know a lot about this feast so I looked up the official web site for Divine Mercy. This is what I found: “The message of The Divine Mercy is simple. It is that God loves us – all of us. And, he wants us to recognize that His mercy is greater than our sins, so that we will call upon Him with trust, receive His mercy, and let it flow through us to others. Thus, all......

My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, May the Peace of the Risen Christ be with you! Today is Palm Sunday and the beginning of Holy Week. As we enter into these sacred days let us be resolved that through the liturgy of the Church on Holy Thursday, Good Friday, Holy Saturday and Easter Sunday, we can accompany Jesus through His suffering, death and resurrection. The pain that I have been experiencing in low back and in my legs has caused me to recall something that I wrote a few years ago entitled “Suffering with Christ.” In fact, one Sunday before my last surgery, Mrs. Berta Chavez, who herself......
