Scripture Readings for The 25th Sunday in Ordinary Time:
SSCMC parishioner and local Veterans Memorial High School standout football player, Aaron Lugo, has chosen the path of priesthood. He will enter the Seminary this fall. Upon announcing his decision in May, VM Athletics coach Simper tweeted “Contrats Aaron. [I’m] very proud of you. Committing to a college for 4 years is easy. Committing to serve God for a lifetime is truly admirable.”
Announcing his plans, Aaron thanked his Mom and Dad, family and friends, a special thank you to Coach Packard, and all who helped him along the way. Aaron extended “a special thank you to Monsignor White for leading in the right direction…”.
