Confirmation I
In the Sacrament of Confirmation, the baptized person is “sealed with the gift of the Holy Spirit” and is strengthened for service to the Body of Christ.
The Sacrament of Confirmation
Classes are held on Sunday mornings from 10:00 a.m. to 10:55 a.m. on each designated Sunday for all Confirmation 1 and Confirmation 2 students.
The SSCM Confirmation catechesis program prepares candidates for the Sacrament of Confirmation as it intends them for a full, conscious, and active participation not only in the Rite of Confirmation but in the life of the Church. This preparation is intended to examine the specific aspects of mission, discipleship, Spirit, and witness in the adolescent’s life and in the overall life of the Church.
