The SS Cyril & Methodius Altar Society’s Mission is to provide for the needs of the Altar.
The Ss Cyril & Methodius Altar Society’s Mission is to provide for the needs of the Altar: linens, altar bread and wine, cleaning of the linens, vestment and sanctuary area, and Shrine of the Saints.
The Altar Society supplies the candles for the Shrine of the Saints and does this through the sale of candles, dues, and holding fundraisers throughout the year. Members participate in other parish projects and special occasions.
The Society holds its monthly meetings on the third Sunday of the month after the 7:30 a.m. mass. Each member pays $2.00 for a breakfast provided by individual members on a rotating basis and conducts Society business, plans fundraisers and members enjoy each other’s company.
Altar Society Scholarship Opportunity
The Altar Society is pleased to offer a scholarship opportunity to assist parish families with tuition for the Ss. Cyril and Methodius Catholic School.
If you would like your elementary school age child to attend Ss. Cyril and Methodius Catholic School and you would like to apply for the Altar Society Scholarship, please be sure to submit your application by July 31st.
